Tippet, I haven't heard the substance of the arguments calling for a recovery in Asia but I would guess it is based upon hope because there is little quantitative data to support this assertion. There are some signs of recovery in Korea I am told. Once the US equity bubble bursts -and it will there will be a new round of economic violence and tough love in Asia. The US cannot continue to be the buyer of distress goods at some point there will be increased protectionism and/or tough love fer da buck. When ? I would guess the tide must turn this year. HO HO HO IT'S DIFFICULT TO KEEP UP WITH THE THREAD many posts . I hope to add my .02 went I have the time but I remain forever bearish. -g- Mike
