I hate to sound pessimistic, but the most recent nearby big promotion in this area, the Golden Eagle gold mine in Cangalli, hasn't exactly restored my faith in the integrity of Bolivian mining business. Besides the fact that the drill results of seven years ago achieved by Rio Tinto are uninspiring, my "hype" meter turned bright red when I read the company's claim that "this exciting new PGE exploration project will complement the Company's Birch Lake PGE project in enhancing Altoro's new focus on platinum-palladium exploration." I would like a company rep to explain just how owning an old, low grade "money sucking" deposit half way around the world will enhance their efforts to drill off Birch Lake.
