Mike McAndrews, President of Clariti Wireless Messaging said, ''We are extremely pleased to announce this distribution agreement with Conectel, which has one of the strongest distribution networks in Brazil. We have worked long and hard to develop our new paging system, and are eager to demonstrate the capabilities of the ClariCAST(TM) Digital Wireless Messaging System to the worldwide paging industry. We are proud to partner with Conectel to introduce our technology to Brazil.''
Ms. Svec concluded, ''Brazil, the fifth largest country in the world, has a population of nearly 160 million people, and an economy that represents 33% of the GDP of all of Latin America.
