Eugene and Glenn, you guys are too much. I wonder how old you are (I am 34). My parents said the same thing to me 12 years ago and I didn't know enough to argue - now, I can tell you that they had it much, much easier than I did when I was getting started in the mid-80s. For one thing, home ownership for them was nothing, anybody could buy a house. They never really managed their assets when they were starting out, one person was working and one not, no weekends working etc. It was leisure city for them. For me a different story - I had to work 12 hour days and weekends, that was the norm in high tech. Not saying I didn't enjoy it, but the reason I am wealthier now than they were at my age is because I worked harder.
