Doug -Will the LA site take away from the total auction count or are they adding for a total count. ?
I just put in more--don't want to miss the stock split news.
Radio ads say more than 2 mil auctions now.
Short interest is dropping big time to 4.5 mil shares -- they don't want to be around for the stock split.

You gotta love eBay!!!

As a small business owner eBay has given me the means to expand at no cost. In fact, at a savings. I just assume that everyone knows that it cost the buyer ZERO to use eBay. The seller pays a small listing fee and a percentage of the sale. So, how do I save money? By reducing my advertising locally, most is a waste of time for the Mom and Pop operation. I've spent on every sort of advertising, including a $3500.00 Cable TV campaign that did little but boost my ego. Ebay gives me 24 hours a day exposure WORLD WIDE! At next to zero cost. I almost fell off my chair the first time someone from Europe won the bid on one of my items. Europe! Me! Just a little guy here in California. Since that first overseas sale, about 20% of all my sales are outside of the US. Ya gotta love eBay. In the last year I have been approached many times by people wanting me to start a web page. I could never figure out how I could justify the time and expense required for my type of business. Well, along comes eBay with the answer, perfect. Ya gotta love eBay.

Doug, now that we are at 2 million auctions, it seems like yesterday that the first million was achieved, Sept 1998. Now just 7 months later 2 million! It took 3 years to reach the first milestone. What's your estimate for 3 million?

I also use eBay to add to my collectables. I have a renewed interest now that so much is available a the touch of a key. This form has also help me reappraise some of the items bought years ago.

To all the Longs and Shorts, you can all make a pile of money on eBay. Either way tell'm where you got it. If you haven't used eBay, try it, YA GOTTA LOVE EBAY!!
