Bearshark, the whole internet group is frozen in anticipation of the amzn report tonight. since the generally held assumption seems to be that they will all sell off thereafter, i expect another rally attempt should the report beat expectations. also note that speculation in amzn calls has been remarkably subdued of late, which is unusual before the earnings(or rather revenues)release. i take this as a rather bullish sign. since amzn is 'the' e-commerce leader, the quality of tonights report will either energize the group or lead to wholesale dumping tomorrow. for now most of the net stocks i watch seem to be stable at the lower levels, for a few hours already. a.k.a. 'tension on the tape'.

regards,

hb
