Russett Thanks for your input. Although my interpretation In Brazil from reading SWG's annual report was that they plan of bulk sampling several pipes this year. I understand that they will also have to bulk sample the alluvial projects for grade and resource calculations to determine their economic viability. But to quote a statement from SWG it stated that "One pipe southeast of the canabrava area is presently being assessed by DeBeers. Numerous pipes within the Canabrava Project containing anomalous indicator minerals similar to those known diamondiferous pipes will be bulk sampled in 1999" they then went on to say that " additional information collected on indicator mineral chemistry in 1998 by the Company will allow for rapid appraisal of these targets." These statements give every indication that we are not looking at 2 years away but less than a year. One must remember that this is not a new project, but one that has over 5 years of exploration work already completed. This is an advanced diamond project that is much closer to be realized than you are insinuating. Your 2 year statement may be more accurate about the Ontario projects but I think you are wrong about Brazil. SUF knows the amount of work Rory has put into this project over the last year and a half and I think they respect him enough to follow his lead in this area. Lets face it Rory has as much experience as Chris Jennings when it comes to understanding Mineral Chemistry and knowing what is a good target or not. Also my understanding is that Rory will be the top decision maker for the JV companies in both Brazil and Ontario, and that they are giving him the carte blanche as far as what is to be done and when. Those aren't words out of my mouth but Rory's mouth. So if you don't believe me phone him and ask him yourself. A matter of fact I believe that they even stated that CNB is the operator of these projects and not the JV majors. So I guess that means he's the one in control of what happens and they will be following his lead.
