The oils is going up, which helps the DOW, the DOT is going down, which hurts the NAZ. Rotation to oils and cyclicals is real? Meaning inflation is down the road? Rate must go up? Decision point!

To All: Will this rotation continue?

I will answer my own question. If the Dow Indices join the NDX and DOT in a decline in unison, money will seek even safer ground...bonds and money market funds!

Will this happen...look at the 5-minute bar charts NOW...it is possible!

Regards,
LG

LG: The inverse relationship between the bonds and stocks was present last August through October. Gersh and I used it religiously. At that time, the INDU vs. NYSE relationship was out of balance. Too much money was flowing around the INDU stocks and that has been the case the last several weeks also. When large money trades like that, it is time to be concerned.

I believe your posts, and those of Don, say much the same thing from a slightly different perspective. This is why I posted over the last few weeks the potential for a huge one-day event to the downside. It may not happen but the conditions are present. Everyone is in trading mode.
