Must be the Thin Phone if it is one-half inch thick. The Thin Phone is in beta testing, so this is probably a field trial.

I, too, am curious as to the implications of the Schneider thing re OmniTracs.

I predict that the Thin Phone will be on magazine covers, will become the standard "cool" accessory for "cultural icons" like (TV show) Melrose Place, be in the permanent collection at certain museums, etc.

This will be Qualcomm's "defining" thing.

It will make the man on the street (well, some of them, anyway) aware of Qualcomm the way that they are aware of Intel.

Of course, I may be dead wrong on all of this ...
