Wave and Content Bundling

Greetings fellow Wavx-ers:

I stumbled across a web site where a customer can pick and choose from over 30,000 titles to burn on a CD which is then shipped to him. The cost is $7.95 for the service and the titles are shareware, freeware and trialware applications.

grabware.com

They even have pre-selected bundles that a customer can choose from. I've heard they're either developing or have already developed kiosks for burning CDs on the spot. These kiosks reside in malls and grocery stores.

This could be another angle for Wave to pursue, let the consumer choose his own content. This would be a nice add-on to the GSN or MyPublish sites. Of course, Wave would simply charge enough to cover materials and S&H and users would get fully-operational programs available for pay-per-use, rental or purchase. Seems like a kewl additional avenue for distribution of content.

Food for thought...
