re Kosovar Refugee relief - We who are trying to follow up on some of Anthony's work are getting very excited. Out of sheer lack of creativity and a need for easy translation, we're tentatively calling ourselves "The Helpers" and are getting it together pretty quickly now, but I know I won't get to talk to Anthony before Friday night. And we need help! We are a small group. For anyone who doesn't know, we are sending two men to Skopje around May 13. One, Dana Moore (he posts as "~Owl" and was instrumental in getting the MTEI scam to the attention of the SEC), will stay 2 weeks and volunteer construction and automotive skills as needed. Dana is a graphics artist by profession and has other skills that make him a very diversified person to be there. The second, Dusty, has traveled the world and learned all the ins and outs you learn only by getting around. He once ended up driving a bus from London to Katmandu, Nepal. We feel that we are sending a perfect pair! We are in contact now with Edmond (I suspect Edmond is probably the "Eddie" Anthony mentioned) at the television station and also the Mother.Tereza organization, so our guys have a place to stay. The sponsoring church in Huntsville, Alabama, is ready to start collecting donations. I think we'll have them take mostly cash and "space blankets." We are open to ALL ADVICE. Edmond says they need everything over there, including sugar and flour. Dusty will probably stay after the 2-week period we're planning and continue to try to get more aid. He may end up in a sort of missionary capacity for ongoing help. Now, as to the main thing we need help with. I asked Edmond about the possibility of our bringing back a couple of Kosovars as Anthony did, and he really was eager to pursue that, but I know NOTHING about immigration and really don't have time to pursue another angle right at the moment. Would any of you like to join our fact-finding group and volunteer some time on this (and other things). We are a VERY small group and really could use some help if we are to get this thing off within a couple of weeks.
