I can't speak for the technology they had when the price was $4 before, but from what I've read today they appear to have a technology whose time has come.

I knew nothing about this company until last week, but the more I learn the more I believe the company has the potential of being huge. If their standards are adopted by the industry, people who get in now will be well rewarded. This isn't something that happens overnight, but it appears that major players besides Lucent are coming on board, and each one should be worth a substantial movement in the stock. It could well be a year or more before a standard is agreed on, or both standards could coexist, but it seems clear that the industry will prefer the standard that gives them protection, that's EDIG.

I do not know about 1994. I said two years ago... I have done a lot of research on this company. It used to manufacture products for retail customers. They had severe cash flow problems. They reorganized, laid off people, moved the headquarters and changed their focus developing products for OEM's. The current products are the most promising yet. I really do feel they will do great.
