define our post-Soviet world! Free of war? Free from fear and deportation? > Greg, pls. read my post again!!! You misunderstood the whole thing! The post said that the post-Soviet, post-Cold war era was supposed to bring peace and prosperity, but it brought WAR in the area that lack of Soviet Power created a vacume!! And that maybe we should re-invent Soviet Union again, in order to creat the ballance of power that we had between East and West! No, we have wars and lack of stablity! By the way you should not only mention Armanians, Azeri's, Checens, Georgians and Ossetians, but alos the low level Civil wars in Tdjikastan, and Uzbekstan.
