I'd just like to catch one of those "experts" in a dark alley with my lead pipe in my hand. I understand the "heard mentality"(they heard it so many times they follow the herd), got screwed by it. I inherited 1750 shares SPS, called into CNBC for "buy sell or hold". Got told by those a**-holes "no-one even follows those worthless utilities" "Don't bother to call again". with-in two months they merged with PS of Co., and have now merged again. Mergers happened in many utilities. None of the "experts" saw it coming. I got screwed big time! Decided to just buy the miners and wait till they were "in" with a play now and again at the edges of what I could guess was coming.
