Steve, I signed up with Jagnotes.com and their morning report repeatedly said avoid techs until Friday or Monday. We shall see.

On the other hand, drillers are back up to their recent high. This should represent a natural resistence point. I am now looking for oil to continue to move higher and these resistence levels taken out before doing more long trades. Time is working in their favor however since OPEC compliance data will be out sometimes in May (hopefully first week of May). Indication is these numbers will be very good. However, I expect another round of selloff/profit-taking after the data is out and the street refocus on fear of whether this is a one month wonder with a subsequent month bust. But if they have problem surpassing their recent highs, I will do another round of put. Hopefully these commodity play will alternate with the techs and provide us a continuing source of trades. Life is never that simple however...

I thought about buying back into the tech sector but I tend to agree with Thean's last post about waiting to see if we continue to shake out the weak hands. My initial feeling is to wait until next week

I have been spending almost all my time these last couple of days in the patch. It's been very rewarding. My timing has been right on target and I'm looking for general weakness in the sector before completely moving out of the patch and onto greener pastures. The trend has been very strong and I'm waiting for it to break down before changing focus.
