That happens an awful lot.Same thing on the sell side if a stock is tanking and some people get really burned bad.I will do a market order if there is lots of solid bids lined up on Toronto but the nasdaq is asking for trouble.I only go limit orders.

Good exercise to practice with the Nasdaq is to never go market order buy or sell.If you do you take your own chances.
