Hi Kids! Another response from MMU president Boulay:
=======================================
Thanks for your recent questions about the indicators or lack thereof in the area and the timing of the anticipated results. I'll put together a few thoughts later tonight. Last I heard, another team of specialists were hovering over the core like a band of vultures pecking away and bagging samples. BTW, I'm off to the field for 2 weeks starting Friday. I will check my email every day so keep the questions coming.

The talk on the Saskatchewan kimberlites, given by Bruce Kjarsgard of the GSC at the conference last week, had some stunning size implications for the Alberta Diamond play occurrences. The concept of stacked kimberlite craters was totally new to me and makes a lot of sense in rationalizing the data that has been generated over the past few years. It bridges the space between the purely vertical occurrences (pipes) and the newly emerging "horizontals" that we are developing. Neat!

Feel free to post
Rick

Thanks Rick.

"Stacked kimberlite craters" -- hmmmm. That would account for some of what Ashton's reported too (as obscure as their reporting's been ;). I like it!

Cheers,

Stew...

"And no Brian Tobin!"

Can you say Diamond Field Resources?? Sure you can....

... Starting to think about what "challenges" a massive tonnage deposit would face in this neck of the woods (I know, it's WAY to early...)

1/ Where would you put the refinery? Fort McMurray?

2/ How would you haul the ore? Truck? Rail? I don't think there's any /much rail infrastructure north of Edmonton... is there a line to McMurray?

3/ Environmental concerns ("oooooh, where's all this yucky stuff coming from") Tailings from sulphide ore are a HUGE headache...

4/ Native rights/concerns: Big problem with Voisey's Bay, other than Mr. Tobin, are the local native groups trying to dictate mine life, and so on, which impacts economics tremendously... there's actually a piece in the Globe and Mail ROB today about it...

All in all, I'm still rootin' for them diamonds, much cleaner and profitable :)))

Just trying to kill some time here before the next news release,
Paul
