To all on this thread, thought I'd share something from today's Houston Post that some of you may be interested in: An APPEAL To The Heads Of Every Company Supporting TV Programs That Undermine America Mail to: Steve Allen Parents Television Council 600 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 700 Los Angeles, CA 90017 Yes, Steve, I want to be counted as one who agrees that TV is leading us down a moral sewer. I think it is unconscionable for fine companies to use their ad dollars to send TV filth, vulgarity, coarse humor, premarital sex situations, violence, killings and all the rest into American living rooms and children's bedrooms. Let's bring back Family-Safe TV. Name ______________________________________________________ Address____________________________________________________ City_____________________ State_________________ Zip_______ I'm leaving off the request for contributions part, but will just note this is a 501(c)(3) organization and they say every penny they collect will go for ads and notifying sponsors, though contributions are not needed to have this Appeal added to the total they report. I'd love to see them get an enormous response to this.
