Naked call writing:

I use this strategy very rarely. In my opinion, it is far more risky than shorting with covered puts.


Would you be willing to elaborate on this? I.e., why it is you feel that naked call writing is riskier than selling covered put (short stock plus write put)? Or, have I misunderstood what you meant by "shorting with covered puts"?
