Speaking of Penny Stocks and the "wisdom" of trading them...

(Not directed at you Sheri...or FP either, for that matter)

I just stopped over at Daniel "Whiz Kid" Miller's Thread and found that people finally wised up:

127.0.0.1:3456/SI/~wsapi/investor/subject-25645

The thread has all but died. Too much money lost and way too many angry people. I've heard horrible tale after tale about people trying to make money with the Pennies and losing everything they had.

One of the best features of Tim's thread is that it is based on the fundamentals. It can be difficult for some to realize how dangerous the Pennies can be. In the case of BBs there are a lot of scams and swindles, not to mention plain ol' pump and dumps, that make it all but impossible for anyone but the insiders and/or scamsters to be make any money.

Some do. Almost everybody doesn't. I don't like the odds. If a person can only invest a small amount...get fewer shares of an established company. If you want to play with Pennies...make sure it is only a tiny part of your portfolio or use your Vegas money.

Geeezzz...I'm on quite a jag today, aren't I?<ggg>

Climbing off my soapbox again...

Paul {:-)
