An old post from Yahoo. Worth reading while waiting for news.

Anyone with access to the SI thread, please post this as a response to the following posting from that thread:

www2.techstocks.com

The claim is that PNLK will not have credibility until testimonials from Fortune 500 or 1000 firms are available.

RESPONSE
This line of thinking is analogous to thinking that AOL (as a start-up company) could not have possibly succeeded until they had signed on as customers, wealthy individuals like Bill Gates, etc. The reasoning is based on a false premise -- that the PNLK's business model depends on signing on a few "fat cat" corporations.
To the contrary, PLNK's focus should be on the millions and millions of small entrepreneurs, small companies and even 'mon and pop' operations around the world who, without the services of a PNLK-type export-import service, have virtually no hope of any extensive overseas trade.
Most Fortune 500/1000 companies who have a multinational focus would necessarily have built up a global presence, so their need for PNLK's service will be very limited at first. The need will emerge only after it becomes evident that thousands or millions of the small businesses are networking on PNLK's website. That creation of such a huge market will draw in the largest corporations around the globe, but not before.
But by then, PNLK would have been universally perceived to be a runaway success, and incoming investors would have to pay the price for a late arrival at the scene. Like the poster herself said -- "No risk, no gain."
