Even if what you say is true (and I personally think that Sun is quite competitive on a price/performance basis, especially when you take into account discount schedules), the nice thing is that these days they're both cheap enough that I can choose based on factors other than price. I've got several PC's here. Any that don't boot up on 1/1/2000 are going to be replaced with Suns.
