Eggs does not have a patent for computerized declining auctions.

True.

Let us compare notes a year from now. I am very confident that this patent will generate insignificant revenues (via royalty/licensing fees) for BIDS.

EGGS has more revenues that BIDS. A year from now it will still be bigger. Ditto for ONSL.
