" I'm wonderful, I'm fabulous, I don't know my ass from a hole in the ground. " What's with that person? Sure, there are some problems with The Fool (disclosure here: my son's their network administrator), but holding tdfx because of competition with intel in the handheld market--why not say competition with bozo the clown in the fright wig department? There's just no sense to what she says ( and I don't like her "Me, Me,--I said it first!" attitude, either).

I realize the motive behind using 3dfx as an example. My thought was that perhaps she confused the companies themselves. I know TMF no longer holds COMS stock in that portfolio, but I thought there might be some chance she saw "3dfx" but thought "3Com" (3Com was in that portfolio up until December, when it was sold for a loss, FYI).

I did something similar just the other day when I saw "Micron Computer" (reading about the NVDA OEM deal) but thought "Micronics" (the motherboard manufacturer that DIMD bought last year).
