Olu
remember it has to stay ABOVE 234 for 20 outta 30 days. Don't you think a lot of people will have a big incentive to sell before the float bloats.
OTOH, I concede that a lot of big money will have a lot of incentive to bolster the price above $234. Bezos ironically might be in the 2nd camp, just so that he can make his 2nd round of financing. I am shocked to see that the dedicated longs on this thread have not hashed this issue to death(or maybe they have, and i was browsing different pastures)...

I don't agree. I think Bezos will do the full court press only when the chances of success are much higher. Let's face it, a series of good press releases, a split and other pr news might not get the job done from the 190 we are at now, and it might sell off and he'll be stuck with those payments longer. I think the past history with him says he will wait for the normal post e sell off, and then partial recovery. Given that he needs 20 out of 30 days above 234 and since amzn has tended to rise into e, I would expect the offensive to start about 45 days before e in July. You start the fire with an expansion announcement around the first week of June. Then you announce the x millionth auction sale 4 days later. Then you announce a split. Then you watch the summer rally and e run carry you past 250 far enough that the bad days still stay above 235.
