The Vivus viper is still on my mind from time to time. Rode that stock with 1,000 shares from $22 to $49 CCing all the way and straight down with several PUTs to $12 before I said "no mas, no mas! That was enough thrills for a life time. So, for me it's the middle of the risk/reward spectrum like ROST, AET, MOT, GT, etc.

As far as picking the stocks???? I have always leaned more towards P/E, good/bad news, increasing earnings, and TA which was narrowed down to the BB and RSI.
