NATO made the
right choice, both for it's own benefit and the benefit of the Kosovars.>>>

Not sure if you do it on purpose but simply repeating this line-does not make it so...Every leader (except Albanian and they are blinded be revenge and eye for the eye) in the region understands that any escalation of the war in the region would bring unspeakable disaster to all,(NATO including) but primarily to the Kosovars..As for Bosnia, if
NATO intervened, it would never be the land as we know it...with so many people killed that Kosovo fiasco would look like accomplishment...

Just saw this one nukester, and I don't hate the U.S. In fact I think it's a great place to visit, and I do so often on business. As far as living there I'd prefer not to because of the sour reputation of Americans throughout the world, the excessive gun related violence and the poor quality of public schooling system. I could walk around down-town Toronto anywhere I want at any time of the night ... I couldn't say the same thing on my visits to New York, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Miami or Washington. The marines in washington walk the streets in groups of 4 for fear of getting rolled for their money. So for me it will always be better to live up the street from you guys reaping all the benefits but not suffering the consequences.

I'm just echo'ing the sentiment seen throughout the world of this overgrown super-power pushing people around. It's not black & white in Kosovo and we shouldn't be there. If your so adamant about involvement then why don't we help the Kurds in Turkey first ; afterall their a NATO nation.

Dimitrov... warned that any NATO move
to use ground troops to defeat
Milosevic quickly could worsen the
situation rather than help it, and he
ruled out a change of policy to
allow NATO to use Macedonian
territory to help launch a ground
offensive.

nuke,
I am not a supporter of Milo the psycho....I am extremely sceptical of what BC and Tony the puppet and that nutcase Mad Albright have forced upon NATO and especially the USA boys & girls who will pay the price. I also feel sorry for many innocent Serbs(bombing an agricultural town and destoying 600 homes is more than a mistake). Needless to say, the Albanian refugees are another suffering segment. At this juncture, I believe to proceed with BC at the helm will only exacerbate the gruesome situation.
