You always have knee jerk reactions like this when small companies make major moves. You would think that if there were any merits at all the case would have been filed by some one like VISEX, LVCI , SNRS or any of the other laser vision correction companies . We'll see when the name of the suing company is revealed. Just my opinion.

IMO I wouldn't worry too much about it. They NEED Autonomous just to compete with VISX and regain some of the market share. They also have a Japanese company, Nidek Ltd. to compete with and if Summit doesn't get Autonomous I'm sure VISX or Nidek would love to! I would be more concerned about the patent infringement suit Summit has against Nidek to see how that turns out. Anyone here know of any other major competitors other than the ones named on this thread?
