El: They have to get their act straight before they speak. They cannot afford to be wrong. The guidance will be conservative, but not too conservative to torpedo the stock price again. If what we heard was true (if!) March finished strong and April started strong with a full order book. The market conditions seem normal, the synergies from the DEC/Tandem merger were late, but not non-existant, so hopefully each passing month will see an improvement. The current price irrationally supposes severe dysfunction: to recover to the low $30's the company first has to eliminate the irrational fear and show that it is functionng well. After that it can start building up confidence through performance. As much as I want an AV announcement, I think they are right to make sure they have the package together first - just as long as it does not take them past the Fall.
