You have never been in Yugoslavia/Kosovo right? you said so...
All the military equipment and bases were built by Tito inside the mountains with numerous tunnels and escapes....few roads that transverse Kosovo are mined and buby-trapped ..No resistance?
1000 soldiers probably dead just to pass through Kosovo...How many Kosovars would be instantly dead is your guess..
Attack from Hungary more feasible....but would lead to heavy civilian toll...
