Actually, the reality of their trades is not bad. The real problem is communcation. They seem put a wall around themselves. It irritates the heck out of me. For instance, the comment "...our customers shouldn't have to call us..." seems to convey their attitude.

I just wish that they would be more open to feedback and customer suggestions. For instance, I told them that I'd like to see some changes in their order entry user interface. I was told, "Well, I don't know who you should talk to. I'll see if I can forward you to someone in our technical department." After about 10 minutes of being routed around, I lost the connection, hung up and decided that it wasn't worth the effort.

If anyone in the company new one thing about communications and marketing, they would have a lot of happier customers.
