Venezuela's Ali Rodriguez says ..... (regarding oil prices) At the moment it's the combination of the inventory report and an announcement from Venezuela Energy and Mines Minister Ali Rodriguez that is causing the rally in the crude sector, Evans said. Venezuela's Rodriguez announced on Wednesday that maintenance will be performed on oil wells in the third and fourth quarters of this year. He did not, however, indicate details on location and exactly how it will effect the country's output of crude. Rodriguez said that production would be below that of the OPEC production limit, but it would not fall short of the target by a "great deal."
