Okay taking the conservative estimate of 200,000 troops it would be acceptable then for between 50-65000 dead NATO soldiers ? That was a brave statement Neo but I don't think the public (especially in the states) would put up with that. Even 5% casualties, 10,000 dead would be enough to start a riot in Washington.

I agree though this thing should never have become a military campaign. Get the Russians to agree to some contract, and then present it to Milosevic. He'll have to sign once his Ace is gone.

James is one of the few "doves" on the thread that can be reasoned with. When it comes right down to the fundamentals of the issue, its a lot easier to talk. Too much vitriol floating around...
