Hi Claude! Only recall information published last summer which I posted here. Certainly, someone could back track and pick up the information in those posts. At that time, folks said Netscape WAS THE ONLY BROWSER THAT could run both UNIX and MSFT products.

From what I read I was under the impression that with recent releases of Windows you had to use the MSFT BROWSER.

Yes, I remember Boeing said that it wanted the browser separated from the OS. In any case, the newspaper article that I read mentioned Boeing and the names of other companies that were unhappy with MSFT Browser. Article I read suggested Boeing was stuck with Windows 95 because the company wanted to use Netscape which supports UNIX.

I wanted only to suggest to James that UNIX is alive and well in our major aircraft company ~ Boeing!

However, I have asked James if anything has changed since last summer. Has it? Does the MSFT BROWSER support both UNIX and MSFT products?

Cheers,

Mephisto
