This is the standard "big lie" about Iridium "its only useful in areas where there aren't any customers."

Well, you don't know what you are talking about. There are a lot of people in areas not covered by terrestrial systems. Just because you aren't there you assume there is nobody there.

Have you heard of Prudhoe bay? Have you heard of British Petroleum?
