Morgan, I agree with ALL of the points that you made below. To reiterate, my primary concern is that they don't seem to listen. As you stated, we and they are part of a joint venture. We don't spend our valuable time raising issues because we enjoy whining. (Well, maybe just a little.)

I would *prefer* to stay with them. It's a hassle moving to another broker. But, I want to seem some indication that they are listening. I've seen nothing in the last two months. Nothing! No response. And, certainly no changes.

In the 1980's, I worked for Digital Equipment Corp. At that time, they were one of the hottest companies on the planet. And, one of the most arrogant. They didn't listen to anybody. Two or three years ago, the remnants were purchased by Compaq. DEC ceased to exist because of their ethnocentrism. I'm worried that Datek will follow the same path.

The tone in this thread tends to be negative. By contrast, check out the QCharts thread. (Yes, I'm a QCharts user.) The user-group is a bunch of rabidly positive supporters. I know of at least one change in QCharts that is a direct result of my suggestions. They listen!

Regards,

Dan.
