Yeah, in fact EBAY management suggested they may have gotten a spike from people ditching stuff after Christmas. (Either actual gifts or whatever the gift was replacing/upgrading.)

It was stated in the conference by Covey at 32 minute and 12 seconds into the call that the book business being profitable in December of Q4 98 being profitable should not have been stated. They did not admit to it being inaccurate but it protected someone's behind in the event it was. I do not know whay they bothered with the call since they refused to answer almost every question.
