tang, now I told you before and I am going to tell you again: you shouldn't be calling Tom a pig. It's wrong. I told you before why Tom sometimes does and says these things that upset you. We don't want to get technical here but simply Tom can't help himself and so it isn't his fault. Just try and be supportive this why he will not get upset which will make him worse. If he tells you that you to go to the Library to connect to the Elton John concert though Real Networks and that you can't use the Altec Lansing HiFi speakers and subwoofer like you normally do at home, at full volume, so " you can feel the vibrations ", just tell him you will give the ear phones in
the Library a try and maybe the ringing in your ears " may feel like a vibration in your body " and you may get the same effect.
OK tang?

See you later,

TA

tang,
Again, well said. I agree with almost every one of your conditions. Almost. That being said, one's time horizon is one of the most important elements to consider. Many have expressed far more eloquently than I ever could the revolutionary nature of the internet experience. It was only recently that I was introduced to the concept of e-banking, for example, and the savings inherent in the digital approach to banking as well as the competitive advantages inherent in that approach. Think about it; potentially everything we buy can be BTO and all over the internet. Dell started it but others (clothes, cars, homes, electronics, etc.) are rushing to copy the non-inventory, customized, model, all purchased over the internet at a potentially reduced cost to consumers.
As the 800 lb. gorilla I'm betting that AOL will benefit significantly from this "megatrend". As I mentioned earlier, the time horizon that I have adopted to see if I'm right is significantly longer than a day, week, month or even, a year. It's many years. Cyclical rotation, options expiration, whisper numbers and the like are like tabloid articles that you read in the grocery store line. Real wealth is created when investors visualize the future and trust that vision.
