LucentLong,

I'm going to answer your points individually, so here goes:

YOU SAID: "EDIG was down to not meeting their future obligations"

MY RESPONSE: Very true. EDIG had financial troubles in the past but is emerging from those problems with the pending (any day now) first shipment of the Cquence Mobiles to Lanier. First 5 Mos. are worth $3million, with $8-10 million per year commitment from Lanier thereafter (source: EDIG Investor Relations)

YOU SAID: "(EDIG) provided some "test-demo" equipment for LU"

MY RESPONSE: Wrong. It was only announced a week ago that these products were in DEVELOPMENT with an intended final product deliverable to meet the Christmas deadline. Don't take my word for it... check the 4/21 news release for yourself... you will see that you are mistaking LU with Intel. EDIG DID deliver 100 prototypes to Intel on a completely different related piece of business as stated in the following company profile for EDIG: "e.Digital was selected by Intel to design and prototype a number of portable digital voice
recorders utilizing advanced speech-to-text and text-to-speech technologies. Intel plans to sub-license the reference design created by e.Digital to Intel's OEM customers, referring them back to e.Digital for licensing and any additional design work required. The prototypes are expected to be complete by mid year 1999."

YOU SAID: "(LU)who in turn agreed to sell....SELL....EDIG some technology if and when they produce their product."

MY RESPONSE: I'm calling you on this one... state your source or else no one will believe you.

YOU SAID: "LU has not subisdized nor backed any product or services from EDIG.

MY RESPONSE: Wrong again, genius. Let me quote Lucent's own press release which can be found at www.lucent.com/press : "We are taking the current generation of hand-held players to the highest levels of audio quality and design," said Joyce Eastman, director of audio for Lucent's New Ventures Group." Who do you think is providing that "highest quality and DESIGN"??? EDIG! Duh! If that's not endorsing EDIG technology, what is???

YOU SAID: "LU has a Venture Capital organization that seeks out and provides funding for the next Bill Gate's Garage scenario. Even they didn't back this effort."

MY RESPONSE: Are you blind? Wasn't that what the entire press release was about? It was an announcement of LU's New Venture division getting in bed with EDIG and Texas Instruments to make a portable player! I think you may be confused.

YOU SAID: "I agree EDIG has risen from the ashes but based on exactly what????? Nothing has changed within their bottom line, productivity or sales. NOTHING!

MY RESPONSE: Yes, you are right about this... until the Lanier announcement which is expected to come out within the next 7-10 days... then you will be WRONG again.

YOU SAID: "You remember when you were in school and they would start a whisper conversation about rabbits on one end of the class and by the time it got to the other it was about airplanes??? The same principal applies here.

MY RESPONSE: How are you comparing bona fide press releases from MAJOR industry players like LU, IBM, Intel, Lanier to childish whispers? Stop looking at what people post here and start looking at the news which gives the FACTS... that's all anybody needs to feel comfortable investing in EDIG.

Good luck to all of you... yes, even LucentLong!

Christopher:

I know that Real Networks acquired an MP3 company, but a couple of months ago Lucent's Director of Marketing told me that Real Audio would be supporting EPAC.

?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
