Steve, absolutely no apologies necessary! I've been sniffing around all of the likely candidates you mentioned. Question: did Intel's recent Server Farm announcement strike you as profoundly as it did me? I think that lots of software will become "server resident" which in some bizarre way means we are going BACK TO THE FUTURE. I recently signed up for efax.com. Damned thing works like a charm. Having WinFax Pro on my home PC is a pain in the butt (as regards incoming messages which e.fax eliminates) but having WinFax is necessary to do the outgoing thing. Other examples are probably better, but the notion that "mission critical" apps should be in the province of some entity other than our little company's HP Server is very appealing AND MORE IMPORTANTLY MICROSOFT TERMINAL SERVER cuts bandwidth needs to the bone. This leads me to my most recent darling: Citrix. Any sense here? Mike Doyle
