It wasn't I who left it on the counter-top, at least not where the dog can get it. I put it close to the splashboard, away from the edge. I am always moving things where the dog can't get them, including (tonight) the roast beef, two pairs of sneakers, a roll of toilet paper, and a yogurt container.
