On a more serious note, it is not what she said at all, it is the fact that she said it. Characters like Hogger come to mind. It is a design that gets the "reader of the moment", I don't favour that modus myself but I know it is effective. Readers often don't know the history of a poster and the background may not always be clear. Like that time Jeffrey talked about Monsanto on the Stupidest Thread, I was worried. Not because of what he said, but because of the fact that "he" said it, the inverse of the situation above, but just as true.
