Antee...if it was a limit order than they can never fill you for a price different than your order unless it is to your advantage. I have often put in a limit order to sell and got filled at a higher price but never at a low. I would call and complain.

It sounds to me that they were giving you your fills incl commission.

Antee,

It all depends on which exchange you were trading on and which broker you were using. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I am presuming here that you were dealing with an American broker trying to buy a US listed stock. Some US brokers only recognize fractions which might account for the difference mentioned in your post.
