I won't argue about the frozen stuff, although it's frequently miserable stuff, it's better than it used to be. A man I used to know in New Orleans told the tale of his father, who was offered the opportunity to invest in a company that was freezing orange juice to ship to the military overseas, I don't remember the war, Korea? WWII? Anyway, the father thought the company would never make it, because the juice didn't have any of the lovely pulp and taste of fresh-squeezed. Punchline, it was the Bird's-Eye company.

Now, of course, you can get it with the lovely pulp and all.

But canned can't be fresh, after it's boiled into submission.
