All Daytraders.....................

For anyone who trades daily or more:

How do you address the issue of following your Capital Gains or Losses?
Aren't you supposed to record every disposition of shares? But if you sell some of your holdings everyday: Don't you have a shit load of work to do to figure it out for tax time each year?
I might be out in left field; but if this is a problem.......
I have an idea.
Let me know how you handle this, anyone.

Thanks.

Valiant/

Do you need the three video cards for the three monitors? I was wondering how you control each screen.

Personally, I'd rather have three CPUs running one monitor each. Sure, it's a larger investment in hardware but it's a one time expense. And with prices falling (and two extra monitors on hand) you could probably pick them up from what you make on a good day.

A high speed cable modem and a proxy server and you're flying. Oh and a high speed dial up account for redundant (backup) access to the Internet.

Other benefits:
+ less competition for resources (RAM, Hard Disk, CPU cycles)
+ three CPUs let you spread the workload around
+ increased reliabilty - if one goes down, you can use another

P.S. I'm new to trading but this technology stuff is old hat to me. Feel free ask me questions. I'll tell you the best ways to spend your hard earned money. BTW, what the heck is LOL?
