20th Century Fox will unfurl "Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace" for theater owners May 4-6 in 30 U.S. cities, but film buyers won't know where the screening is until the last minute. The move by Fox is for security reasons to make certain that only invitees are in attendance for the highly anticipated film. The "Star Wars" trailer has been bootlegged on the Internet and found its way to auction on the eBay online site. The film will then screen for the New York media at a junket May 6-8 to be attended by George Lucas and the principal cast. The filmmakers and cast are not expected to attend any of the film's charity premieres.

I don't know if this is true or not.
