FWIW, I live in Colorado Springs. I've heard that a HS here was signing a card to send up to Littleton for the students of Columbine. Students were signing notes and what not on the card. Some of the students wrote notes supporting the killers. A coworker's mom spent time cutting those notes out of the card.

Have any of the students writing those notes of support for the killers been spoken to? I don't mean as punishment, but to talk to them why they feel the way they feel? Cutting out the pro-killer sentiments from the card won't alter the fact that such feelings exist and may well fester. Denying/downplaying/ignoring such dark feelings seems like the same road to ruin the killers' parents, teachers and cops had been taking for many months prior to this atrocity...and look what happened.

Unbelievable that so many are showing support for the people who caused this tragedy.

I strongly agree, and we need to know WHY. If the only local reaction to the pro-killer notes on this card was to clip them out and throw them away, I am very concerned nothing whatsoever has been learned from this tragedy.
