I feel that since the phones are constantly changing and that the Q can sell as many as they make, that while Tero is correct in the long run that they will need to be feature, factor and battery life competitive, that is not the crucial problem at the moment. Therefore, I may be a little fuzzy on the "Terospecs". I have the flyer in front of me and it does not state whether or not that phone is dual band. I suspect it is not. The price is just under $200 which is near the high end of the range of the 7 phones available.

IMHO it it more significant that there is currently a choice among 7 phones. This will make it more likely that the customer will find a phone that they like and will use. The styles, weight, specs will all evolve and the Q will introduce competitive models right along with the rest of the manufacturers.

My point was that Denso (? owned by Toyota) is in the thick of it along with the more well known cellphone makers. The more manufacturers, the better the eventual product, the more likely that sales and use will increase helping the rising tide of royalties.
