Mani - " How much more expensive (if any) is AMD 5 metal layer process compare to Intel are 0.25, PER UNIT AREA?"

I could only guess that Intel's is cheaper. But that is with a bunch of WAG about AMD's process. Maybe Yousef wants to take a stab at this.

Mani - Re: "I am asking about the percentage difference in cost per unit area assuming equal yields...If this is a stupid question which it well could be, let me know nicely, thanks."

To assume "equal yields" between an AMD and Intel process would be an exercise in futility.
