Read much of it, although I seem to recall not having finished for some reason... I have read other of her works, on political philosophy, and she is very interesting, indeed. Did you know that she was Heidegger's lover when she was a graduate student ( he was married). And, of course, Husserl was his mentor. He betrayed a large number of his friends when he played footsie with the Nazis, but his associations lend credibility to his claim that he was not an anti- semite--- at least not of the same ilk as the Nazis...

Of course the critic would retort, "well of course, she's a Jew."

And ''smart critics'' will remind you that Arendt's book on the trial of Eichmann (Eichmann in Jerusalem) is still censored in Israel...
